For the first time, European Work in Progress Hamburg (EWIP) will be held in Hamburg from 29 September to 1 October 2025, in collaboration with FILMFEST HAMBURG INDUSTRY, the MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, and with the support of the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme.

The Call for Entries is now officially open. Eligible for submission are European productions or co-productions involving at least one European country, currently in principal photographypost-production, or any late production stage.

Projects must have footage available for presentation and be seeking either final financing support or strategic partners for international distribution.

Up to 30 European feature films—including fiction, animation, and documentary—will be selected to present their works-in-progress exclusively to an audience of international sales agents, distributors, festival programmers, and other key film industry professionals.

As part of an ongoing partnership with TorinoFilmLab, a curated selection of post-production projects developed within FeatureLabScriptLab, or supported by TFL Fundswill be included in the EWIP 2025 lineup.

Each project presentation will last up to 15 minutes, featuring selected film excerpts and a Q&A session.

In addition to these pitches, EWIP offers a dynamic industry environment with individual one-on-one meetings, panel discussions, workshops, and evening networking events, all designed to maximize impact and foster meaningful professional connections.
