World Sales, Distributors and Producers from all over Europe are welcoming new opportunities to collaborate at the first edition of European Work in Progress Cologne (Oct. 9th – 11th, 2018)

The response to our newly initiated industry meeting European Work in Progress Cologne has been overwhelmingly positive and film projects from 23 countries from the EU (France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Malta) as well as co-productions who teamed up with non-EU countries such as Iceland, Bosnia, Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, India, Iran, Malaysia, Philippines, China, USA, Egypt, Sri Lanka and Ethiopia have so far reached us, seeking to connect with creative partners in the final stage of their production.

We’d like to remind you that the submission for European Work in Progress Cologne 2018 will close on August 15th.

Around 25 carefully selected projects will be presented in pitches of 10 to 15 min. including film excerpts that allow to better assess the compatibility to the respective partners’ profiles. European Work In Progress Cologne aims to create opportunities to collaborate for International sales agents, distributors, producers, financiers and complementary partners to support the realization and distribution of top-level film projects with high-quality appeal and crossover market potential as well as to provide a valuable network. European Work in Progress Cologne focusses on fictional feature films.

EWIP is hosted by AG Verleih, the association of German independent distributors and supported by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, one of Germany’s leading film funding institutions.
