14. March 2018 | redaktion Call for Entries for the first edition of European Work in Progress Cologne (09 – 11th October, 2018) has opened! Deadline for registration is 15th July, 2018 The European Work in Progress Cologne is an independent industry event, organised by AG Verleih and supported by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, which will take place for the first time during the Film Festival Cologne 2018. From now until 15th July, 2018, German and European feature film co-productions in the post-production stage can apply. The event’s aim is to find partners for distribution, world sales and co-financing as well as to develop evaluation strategies for the invited projects. A commission will select 25 projects from the applications, which will be presented to an audience of high-level industry professionals during the event. The producers have up to 10 minutes to present their project. This presentation must include excerpts from the film. After the moderated presentation, there will be an opportunity for individual meetings to discuss the projects in detail. In addition, a jury will award the following prizes: The MMC-Studio Awards: vouchers for post-production services worth 20,000.00 € and 15,000.00 €, as well as the K13-Studio Award voucher for audio post-production services worth 10,000.00 €. European Work in Progress Cologne is accompanied by a supporting programme with panels and moderated discussions, evening events and an award ceremony for the best projects.
